hello thanks for favorite I’m really flattered cause you have great projects. I was wondering did you publish your “favorite dress pattern” as you named it, I like it so much and I would like to make it myself if you don’t mind :)

Hi Satomi! I saw a picture of your blue Danielle in last year’s august issue of Burda magazine and I fall in love with it immediately! Actually, that’s how I found this site! I saw that your dress is based on Danielle pattern, but alterations you’ve made made it so much better. So I did the same, and now I have this beautiful dress all thanks to you. So thank you! Hope you don’t mind that I copied your work shamelessly :) If it’s alright with you, I could post some pictures of that project (which is more yours than mine) so you could see it. Of course with all credits given to you. p.s. the rest of your work is also very beautiful and creative, and photography only upgrade that. You are one real pro ;)

Hi Satomi!
Would you be able to recommend some of the stores that u go to in Nippori Fabric Town? I was there last week and beside Tomato, i did not really know which ones to go to. I’ll be going down to Tokyo in the next 2 months hence hopefully i can get more fabric the next time. I really like the cloths that you picked out for all your creations! :)
Cheers!

Hi Satomi, Thank you so much for the links. I can’t believe there is a “fabric town”. There is so much to see and do in Japan. Thanks. :-)

Hello! Your sewing is just amazing. I love you style, very simple with a twist! I’m going to be in Japan in September and I cannot wait to check out the fabrics and the pattern books. If you can recommend any places in particular, i’d be stoked. Thanks for the inspiration!

i’ve finished a couple, i just haven’t had a chance to up load them! i’ve actually got a few cut out ready to sew, so i’ll most likely upload them all at once (they’re so comfy, it’s going to be a staple of my summer wardrobe!)

Thanks so much for the link satomi! I will see if I can order it- if not, I could have a go at drafting something similar. If it has no zipper, how do they open up? it is through the pocket area or in a sideseam? I’m obsessed with making pants right now! Thanks again :o)

Hi Satomi. Thank you for a link to your favourite pattern book. I don’t live in Osaka. I went there just for a scientific conference and spent most of the free time searching for fabrics and books. I like Japanese style.

Hi, Satomi – Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. I’m sure you’ll be a stunning bride! You have a great sense of style and sew beautifully. Can you tell me where I might find a pattern like the lovely dress you made to wear to your friend’s wedding? Thanks!

Thanks so much for letting me know which book the pattern for your lovely denim dress came from. I own a couple of Japanese pattern books, and I really love them, but I never know which new ones I should buy – postage to the UK from Japan is so expensive, so I really appreciate any recommendations!
