    I would highly recommend taking a basic sewing class, I felt just as timid as you until I did, then I realized it wasn’t as hard as I had previously thought! If you can knit, believe me, you can sew.

    And also, as far as the pencil skirt goes, any woman whose waist is smaller than her hips can look great in a pencil skirt! If you are currently pregnant it might not work, but otherwise I think you’d be fine :)

      I have taken a sewing class, I just wish I could find more people who sewed or more advanced classes. What I really have trouble with is cutting fabric. It’s what always stops me, I figure the rest can be managed.

      And yes, I am currently pregnant—I’m holding off on anything fitting waists or hips until I figure out how things settle post-baby #2!
