Hi I like your coffee date with the lower waist. I made it a while back , but waist was too high for me. Did you just lengthen the pattern when cutting it out. thanks?

Hi Aibby,
thank you! So I lengthened the pattern for the bodice, but make sure you curve the side seams otherwise it will have a straight waist. The darts can stay straight. I even readjusted mine during sewing to my relatively slender waist, because it turned out to be too loose around the waist. The curves depend on our figure. Also assure that in the bottom seams of the bodice fit the length of the skirt of the dress. Let me know if this is too confusing ;-) also my sewing vocabulary in English is not the best. I could make a drawing and send you, if needed.
Cheers,
Katharina
