    Many thanks for your words of support! Slowly getting tidy. Haven’t picked up a needle and thread for ages as there’s too much to organise here at the moment. Everyones OK, and the cat is fine too! So thankful for smoke alarms…. please check yours! Sallyx

    Hi pushi, that’s correct. A relatively small fire but a lot of smoke damage. All of the upstairs was covered in a layer of oily smut. But I am thankful for small mercies. Do get your smoke alarms checked, I never thought it would happen to me! Sallyx

    Hi Aibby, Thanks for your interest. To answer your question, yes they are for sale for £45, but I think the camera image does not render accurate colour, and Brockbear no.3 is more of a brown than a grey. I could send you a swatch of his body material if you were still interested, or if you have a sample of your camper cushions you could send to me I could make another bear for you which would compliment your colour scheme.   So I’ve decided to take it to the next level… a run of 25 off of two Brock Bears. The limited Ed’s, but do lots of bears look like mine? Those who are familiar with Charlotte, Rebecca and Beary Special, may understand what I mean. They are unusual, quirky, different, definitely. Would love to know anyones views, as I feel I’m on the cusp of something…! Sally

    Hi, ‘MamaDiosa’,
    I plan to in the near future. I have several commissions on the go at the moment, and have just cut two new bears to make with Etsy in mind. An interesting spin off is that I am going to make a bear using cherished baby clothes the mum just can’t part with! Watch this space!

  I really like your teddybear. Is it the Brockenhurst from the newforest? When I was a exchange student I lived in Wimborne near poole. Once my dad visited me and we made holidays in the new forrest and stayed in a hotel in Brockenhurst. It is a really lovely place

    Thanks for your kind comments… and yes Brockenhurst is in the New Forest. I have lived here for a few years now and still love seeing the horses, cows and pigs walking up and down the high street!
