Haha if you made one right now, it might be a bit hot for you – but go for it! It’s so nice to line something, it’s just that little bit more impressive :) i think ill want to line everything from now on, but i obviously won’t. Thanks for the nice comment :)

I am sorry that you live so far away. I would gladly give you one of my eggs. I have posted a note under your “I darned a sock” message. It explains how I use of a machine to darn things. Cordially, Nehmah

Hey! Thanks for your comment on my dress… I never though about doing it in the dryer, I don’t have one so it never occurred to me, but I guess it should work, specially for non natural fibers, they really turn into a big disgusting mess…If you try it and it works let me know. Also, it takes a few experiments to figure out exactly how to tie up the fabric for it to come out the way you want.

Hey SaFemme, Don’t “dislike” Marie pattern..it can be really cool… depending on which fabric you use, or which size you make i made another one, a bit larger and i used light gray jersey. it looks completely different than this one and i adore it. i’ll take some photos and upload it soon

Hey :) i just saw the name ave0000 in your comments, and i’m thinking you got the same email as me! Was it asking for you to write them an email? I didn’t – it was very suspicious. I couldn’t get on their profile either. Weird, i wrote back saying that whatever private matter they had could be sent to my burda account lol.

Wow! That is interesting, I did a search for ave0000 and they don’t show up in my search for anything. Sounds like some weird spam! I will report this and see if we can get you some relief.

Hi! Thank you for you comments, I’m really glad you like my stuff. The B&W dress is indeed my favorite too of my latest stuff, and it was also the one with more work going into it. Ciao!

Thanks for the comment on my green tank! I love the color too! I don’t know about a tutorial… I used tissue paper to make a pattern by tracing a couple tank tops of mine until it looked about right and then I cut the upper part to make a yoke. I tried to do gathering but failed, so I did some tiny pleats instead. For the binding I had no clue what I was doing other than that I wanted to leave it raw edge. I cut wide strips of fabric (because it kept rolling up) I folded it along the edges of the shirts and sewed, making sure to catch the shirt edges within; I then trimmed close to the stitch.

Thanks for your comment on my infinity dress! I was really scared to make it – as I’m not very experienced… but it actually turned out to be quite fun. It only took a few days, so I am sure you can whip one up in an even shorter time! I would love to see photos when you do!
