Hi Ruk, Thanks for your salwar how to. My first attempt at making the salwar was very sucessful. I’m going to try making the kameez and churidaars soon enough too. I tried to post the pictures of the salwar for you to see and be proud of your great tutorial but I couldn’t understand the process of downloading the picture as mentioned under add comment/image.

hi Ruk! Thank you for the wonderful patterns. I love the loose salwar & the new kameez patterns. I am trying to make a kameez with some fabric that is a bit too sheer so I am trying to add lining to it. I dont know how to sew all 4 pieces together any suggestions?

Hi Ruk! Thanks for the wonderful kameez pattern. I’m a bhangra dancer and have the hardest time finding salwar kameez that fit at stores- it’s great to have this pattern so I can make my own!

Hi Ruk, This is Anu. I loved all your how tos. I am really new to sewing and it’s wonderful to find some easy desi patterns. Could you post a how to for a halter sari blouse or a regular blouse? Also i have fried my brain thinking about how to make dori (strings) to tie the back of a choli. Do you know how? Thanks annuradha@gmail.com
