It’s such a fast and easy project! I just made another one yesterday out of a heavyer fabric, so instead of draping it folds in nice waves.

I took my regular trouser pattern (drafted) in at the legs to make them skinny and added a cuff to the bottom.

A VERY simple skirt to make….there are no side seams or back seams to the skirt, only a hole in the middle for the waist. You can check out my tutorial here…

Natasha Janzen added the project Faux Leather Leggings
I drafted the pattern and sewed these pants using a thin stetchy faux leather fabric.
There are metal zippers on the inside of both leg so that the hem can be opened up for a different look.

This skirted trench coat can be zipped off to a shorter jacket, and the skirt part can be worn as an actual skirt due to some carefully places hook & eyes and a snap.
