  Thanks for the comment on my corduroys! I always thought pants were intimidating until I made my first pair of these a few years ago. It turns out well-fitting pants are completely doable—I didn’t have to change the pattern or anything. I’m sure you’d make amazing pairs!

  It is indeed, just a long piece of fabric with elastic to keep it in its place at the top. I made it after I made the green empress waist dress and thought it needed one more element. It works for so much more than just an underskirt though, it’s really dynamic and can do so many looks. I think every girl should make one ;).

  Re:Anda If you try to add darts without a zipper I don’t think you’ll be able to get it on! Though if you only do front darts it won’t be as much of an issue. And it depends on how busty/hippy you are. I have an ample supply of both, so I definitely needed the opening.

  Thank you for your comment on my lacy tee! It should make the shirt look better if the model was thinner but oh well… :-D Oh, by the way, I love the blue big gingham (is it!?) check you are wearing in the pic!!
