  thanks for the comment on my shirt! that fabric was a pain to work with!! if i knew how to add friends i would add you! lol. i still haven’t totally figured this site out yet.

  Hya! Thanks for your comments on my dress. No particular tricks for the sleeves but my janome machine has a removable tray that allows me to slide the sleeve cuff in it. are you doing the version with the ties? They were tricky and I did had to finish them by hand to make it all neat looking. Hope this helps and good luck with your dress!

  didn’t use a pattern on the red striped dress with gold rope. wish i’d made one so I could give it to you. I drew it sitting in class one day and 8 hours later (after a few problems :) It was done! I’ll put the concept pic up if I can find it.
