Congrats on your new blog! Looks great. I learned to knit from my grandmother 15 years ago, but haven’t really done it very much. (mostly projects like the hat in my projects here.) I’m hoping to knit a cardigan and maybe a sweater this winter. Maybe if I’m lucky, I could ask you, if I suddenly have a problem with it? One thing is for sure though: I’ll look at your blog on a regular basis and see what’s new ;-) All the best, Mitmit/Anna

Aww thanks that means a lot! To be honest with you I’m a complete beginner myself but I’ll keep learning and recording my progress and maybe we can keep in communication and learn off each other a little bit :) I’m glad you’re going to follow my blog that’s awesome! :D. My mum’s knitting a jumper now also so she can give me advice on making clothes and I will post/relay that to you.

Sounds great! If you want to, you can add me one facebook. I’ll send you my email-address in a mail, so you can find me there. I’m in the process of moving, so I don’t get to visit burdastyle so often, but FB and my email is checked everyday ;-)

Ha, I stumbled across some of your remarks about the fact that it’s rude to write hurtful things about thin womens bodies just as much as it is about big women, and I smiled every time! I was called a bitch (on my wall), and was accused of calling someone fat “twice”! I didn’t even once, of course, but it’s a very sensitive matter and if you’re thin and oppose yourself to the people who want to turn Burdastyle into a site for plus-size women only (or mainly) they seem to get extremely hurt (not all, but some). But it’ s nice to see someone else who reacts and responds to the same issues as me! I feel sad that this whole “real women”-issue makes such a large part of the thin women (in the US especially) turn to plastic surgeons to make them “women” enough… the big girls don’t seem to understand that there is tremendous pressure on ALL women to be good enough, and that it’s almost impossible to be perfect, for the majority of all women, no matter what size. So please keep putting a smile on my face ;-)

Wonderful! Thankyou for saying something I’m glad people share the same views :) I agree with everything you said and don’t worry I’ll keep standing up to the people insulting the models ;)

Edit to add: You made the afternoon tea top pattern! * applaud *
