  ok – so ive cut out the 2 pattern pieces and now all i need to do is tack on seam allowance and sew! so why cant i do it?! i have a major confidence stumbling block i cant do it without my sewing tutor standing over me or nearby for support although ive done this task a million times with cushions! If i wait until thursday to do it at my sewing class it seems silly as this i can do now at home but what if i dont measure it right? what if i dont line the dress up right at notches? i am being so so stupid i know!I think ill just DO IT! Dont want to wait until thursday to move this project along. I thought I was quite a confident person and clearly not. I think the hardest thing ive had to deal with on my sewing course is my own insecurity and belief in myself. I want to sew so much and do it well that that very enthusiasm is too much pressure. Im going to finish off making meat pie for tonites dinner then go upstairs and tack the dress.
