I have had the same dream about living in a fabric store. Ahh, if only dreams could be reality! By the way — you just found another “unschooled” homeschooler. Highfive!

Hi Catchannette! Thank you so much! Very sweet of you. I’m quite envious of the bags you’ve made and your cute bow shorts and skirts! <3

You live on an organic hobby farm too??? I find that so great! My family does CSA. What kind of plants do you have on your farm? Now I’m just trying to figure out what “unschooled” means. Is that slang for homeschooled?

Hi there Awojhn! Yay! Another organic hobby farm girl! :-) A CSA? That is so awesome! I always wanted to start one, but we just don’t have enough garden space. We just grow for ourselves and then give people the rest. We’ve got a little bit of everything…. Watermelon, beets, peas, cucumbers, baby bok choy (my mom’s) etc.. ;-) We also have layers for organic eggs. (I love our chickens! “The Girls”) Um… you could say “Unschool” is slag for homeschool. Unschool is where the student sets there pace and what they want to study. You might say is a very “organic” way of learning. ;-) What about your farm? Vegetables? Animals?

How cool! We have about 12 layer hens, but they have recently been preyed upon by an evil fox. :( We usually have 20. We also have two beef steers. Our garden is pretty big (at least, I think so). We have many of the same vegetables you do, including leeks, onions (suprisingly large in number), brocoli, califlower, radihes, carrots, and the like. :-)

Those foxes. I tell ya. We used to have 26 and now 24. Oh dear. ;-( I do love foxes however. :-)
