Thanks for the comment! I wanted to make a flannel quilt for myself, but had never made a quilt of ANY kind before. This little quilt was basically a practice piece so I could get the feel for the material & the technique. It also did a good job covering the nasty board in front of the corner window! (We have a very old & rather uniquely shaped apartment…) :)

Thanx for commenting on my Michelle skirt :) it was fun and easy to sew and a great way to get back into the habit of making clothes again, as I haven’t for a while…. when can we see yours?….

hello! yes, i did get that pink ombre fabric here in seattle area. surprisingly enough, i got it at jo-anns in bellevue. i think it was intended as a lining. that’s what i purchased it for originally. i was sewing a wool jacket for a school project and found out that i am allergic to wool. that entire project was re-engineered and i had the pink fabric just hangin’ out. where in the area do you live? are you part of a knitting group?
