    Designing Reflections:

    So today I spent ALL day on the www as my daughter attended “pre-school” online. I decided to make the most of my time on the computer by learning “how to create a logo” using photoshop. To my surprise I was successful! Still in need of some practice and perfection but the result was nothing short of fabulous.

    I also “discovered” my newest inspiration, a young up-and-coming designer by the name of Ashley Pahler. I instantly fell in love with her senior collection for graduation from Drexel Univ. in Philly. What I found to be so inspiring about her was the fact that like me she has always been artistic, even as a young girl, never knew how to sew until using her time in college to hone her skillset.

    The result is nothing less that amazing with her creative and artistic approach to Haute Couture, I was simply aw-struck by her collection you can view her work here.

    So as I type this up late with my mind still swirling with thoughts of grander. I wonder, what may be in store for my design future? I truly believe the sky is the limit!

    So I will just keep smiling, live, breath & eat sewing & design and NEVER-EVA stop dreaming!…

    Super excited about the month of October…. October 6, 7 & 8th A3C (All 3 Coast) Hip Hop Festival – I am a featured up & coming designer! October 14th I (or my designs) will be attending the Boss Lady Magazine Preview Party @ Museum of Art Design Atlanta! October 27th I will be attending and featured as an up & coming designer at the Blue Mark Studios in Atlanta for the Resurrection Fashion Event & Fundraiser!
