Hi Oona, I’ve been cyber-stalking you on this site and your blog for weeks because we have the same measurements and a similar…..Dunno. I can’t really think, because I got really good news at work this morning, meaning I could leave, go home and sew and nap today and send an email or two. Then I checked Burdastyle and my first project was in a picture – nothing I made, mind you, just a pretty cut-out. Celebrated a bit, too early in the day, and now must nap. Thanks for being a great inspiration, miss Sassy-Skirt.

The hubby is a fan of Almendrado, and Con Memorativo, although in the house at the moment we have Corralejos triple distilled and 1800. Next time we visit the familia in Tenochitlan I’ll pick up and send you a bottle of something, I gotta give back! Keep you posted

Seriously? That’s AWESOME! When we lived in Cali back in the 70’s (i was just a wee tot) the cemetery down the street was having a problem with teenagers going in and having a ‘recreational’ good time. Their answer? They got a couple of albino peacocks. Could you IMAGINE?

Hello, don’t we all make mistakes while making clothes,…stiching the sleeves the wrong way, frogetting to add seames. I swear a few times verry hard and start undoing the seems, or whatever that went wrong. Sewing can drive you mad! ;-)

Hi mama! Howdy, hello, ahoy! I have had a long hiatus from the ol’ Burda site. Popped by for a peek and there you are! Looking great! How exciting to finally see your FACE in the shots of all your fab clothes. Meow! Prowling around for a toddler t-shirt pattern. I found a nice easy one somewhere but now can’t remember where. Hmm? Thoughts? Also I think there’s a good t-shirt neckline tutorial here, so maybe that’s what I’m thinking of. Anywhoo, just breezing by. Summer’s coming and I’m bound to get inspired again! Hello to R!

no, it’s TOO TRUE!!! i haven’t sewn in over a week. i couldn’t even get up the will to re-hem an RTW shirt yesterday. i did embrace the lulling, but 48 hours of it is all i can take. i’m sewing something today even if it’s a complete fail from the first stitch!
