I didn’t remember you until someone said you’re “oonaballoona” too. I forgot that
you live around here. Do you think we ever met? The only Burdastyle meet up I went
was in the Mood Fabric store in nyc. There were only a few members that came including
“kasia”. Anyway, I am very happy to meet you and Helene, two very talent seamstresses.

I left almost the same message on my wall by mistake as the one below. I just hope that we get some information from the Team, not some stranger in Munich. Cordially, Nehmah

Thanks for adding me as a “friend” It really does mean a great deal to me. i hope that the BS site survives the transition to German oversight. It would have been decent if the Team had let us know that our input won’t amount to a hill of beans, before Burda dropped the dime on all of our ideas. The whole thing was, according to the revamp blog, a done deal in March of this year. Nehmah

Maybe I just look at the site too often. I just wish I understood the timezone the timestamps are. For my wall/activity page, TODAY timestamps change the next day. IE a time stamp jul 20 in the morning should change to yesterday on the morning of Jul 21, right? Not for me. Hence, I have new activities for today that actually happened yesterday and that I read yesterday.

Yeah, the reply-via-wall doesn;’ seem to be a happening thing yet- sure will be convenient though when they get the kinks sorted out! I haven;t been able to participate as much as I would have like to in the beta-test because the beginning of this week I was struck down with flu! Of all the luck.
Can’t wait to see your new creations- you must have a fair bit piled up in 8 months!

The Soccossugro Panel would like to congratulate you on your decison to buy solid fabrics and would like encourage your endeavour to face the solidity of salmon colour (doesn’t the colour make you think of cooking a nice salmon dish tonight? Hum? See the analtered joy of working with unicolour mental blocks!)
Now as you sew along think of
    song1:
    ‘SOLid (pause 1 2 3) SOLID as a ROck’ ….
Now you have to hum a song back to me so I start buying more printed fabrics! :)

Support from the SOlid COlour Scheme SUpport GRoup:
Tip1: Think about your favourite colours as solid blocks (in circle, square shapes etc..) and inspiration will follow
Good news: due the forthcoming winter festivities a solid colour fabric with glitter is still considered as part of the solid colour scheme.
    So-Co-S-Su-Gro (always here to help)

Thank you :) I have holidays right know and a lot of time for sewing, so I guess I just posted creations like mad without you noticing ;) And with the solid color thing: I have to stop myself from buying only patterned fabric, because I think: You cannot combine your garmets, unless you want to look like a clown. Too sad! But sewing with solid colors is also great, so the pattern stands out more.
