Hi! Thanks for your comment on my JJ blouse. Satin is really a challenge. The top-tension has indeed to be really low, but I experienced that a shorter stitch avoids unintentional gathering (it seemed so while I was sewing). On the front I already had to topstitch the button-facing and it worked well with basting before. Thanks for the tip with the hem, I don’t have a serger, but maybe a small band of interfacing would also work? I wish you good luck with your satin-tunic :)

Hey thanks olar! It is funny but actually I already got this exam – I answered the questions in January I think. I am now just finishing some presentation stuff and then I am done!

hey olar, i answered your danielle question on the comments page of my creation but i realized you might not look back there:) i have a very small bust too, but the darts on the pattern helped tremendously. i just kept making them smaller till it fit, then creased the long strip that sits below the top in half, creased the top, matched creases, and cut the excess of the strip off the ends. wish i had the knowledge to adjust the pattern on paper before hand and save fabric, but oh well…
i’ve been thinking of tackling the nichola pants as well, but my extreme derriere is holding me back!

Hi olar – thank you for your nice comment on the wall! I really like what you did with the Anita!
I realised, since I started sewing my own clothes, that I use much bolder colours and patterns, than I would, if I bought them off the rack.

Hi Olar. Thanks for your nice comments on my red top. I just love red colour. I have a lot of red fabrics, but I have to find a little bit more time for sewing;)
