  I just checked out your blog (very nice by the way) and I notice that I have a lot of the same Japanese pattern books you do and I’ve made several of the same styles for my 6 year old daughter. Too funny! If not for being a day apart, I would ask if we were seperated at birth! :o)

  I checked your blog, hmmm not that easy making a bathing suit. I have a bathing suit that fits perfect, I think I wil try to make a pattern from that. Because as you mentioned, the burda style pattern seems rather short, not something for a “busty” person like me,… Thank you for the information!

  Hi there.

  I’d love to make your Girls ruffle skirt, but can’t find a link to the actual tutorial (but I am new to all this so I may have missed it). Any chance you can point me in the right direction. Your skirt is absolutely gorgeous and just the style I am looking for. I went to the page you listed as credits, but that skirt is different.

    Hi Carlene. The skirt in the link is the exact same skirt as what i made and is the tutorial i used to make the skirt in the photos.

    We meet at Tessuti Fabrics at 141 Flinders Lane usually on the last Thursday of the month from 6:30 until 8:30 but we’re a week late with January’s meet up which will be this Thursday instead.

  Hi Nikki, I love Tessuti fabrics, but do they offer a discount when ordering more than a certain amount of fabric. I live in Hobart, nowhere to buy decent fabric down here and normally visit my old home town of Sydney when buying fabrics. I am not very familiar with Melbourne, but passing through VIC on Monday and hoping to visit some fabric stores. Thanks, any info would be a great help. PIXE

    Hi Pixe,
    yes we do offer a discount of 30% on amounts over 10m but this must be 10m of one fabric.
    I’ll be working Monday, i hope you get a chance to drop in and we can chat more about it:)
