My mom taught me to sew on an ancient sewing machine & then she put me in sewing lessons for a year. That was when I was 11 & I hadn't sewn since, until my boyfriend bought me a sewing machine for my birthday. I was so excited & I have slowly got back into sewing. I love the Burda Style website - free advice, ideas, & patterns.
