I have sewn since I was a kid and my first machine was an old, heavy factory machine that was perfect for making scrunchies and elastic-waist shorts. I loved making costumes as a teenager. My sewing practice comes and goes in waves - I'm busy as a teacher and I study. I also love to eat, dance and read.
