I finally made a pair of mini bloomers from a polka dot cotton material.
A few changes I made were:
I used 1" elastic in the waist instead of 2 pieces of thin elastic.
I didn’t sew channels …

A self drafted skater dress with side pleats in the sides, made from a thick stretch material.
