  I am making you an example for my granddaughter, Raven. Please take it as a very large compliment! She is model for my last project & wants to sew. Gave her an old Viking, like one I use. Some frustration in things that happen to all of us: needle breaking, thread in giant jumble. I am 1,000 miles away, so I sent link to your site! I am always inspired & extremely beyond impressed with your work. I now give Raven-the gift of mixtlii! Thank you for your expertise!

  hi there, ive just joined in on burda i was browsing for a bolero jacket and came accross something you had posted earlier. i was wondering if you could help me with that i wanted to sew one in satin for my wedding

    Hello,
    I would be happy to help but what do you wonder?
    I think this pattern needs a fabric that keeps in shape and isn’t slippery, maybe you should interface it if you use satin.
    Oh and something important: the sleeves are very small on the pattern, if you’re making them, make them longer!
