Oh no! Please don’t cut the expensive pattern! Find some wax paper or regular paper taped together and trace the size you need. That way you will have all sizes intact for the next time you want to use it. I can’t wait to see your creativity of this little dress. Please post a picture as soon as you get it finished!

That’s quite alright! If you ever need anything please feel free to contact me. The pattern from Portabellopixie is a easy pattern especially compared to your costume pattern! The little flower on my apron is just a 4inch wide by 12inch long piece of fabric folded to 2 inch wide and gathered at the unfinished edge. I then used a covered button in the center. Pretty easy. Have fun and sew plenty!
