      Hi there…. I wish we had a proper sewing group! I am struggling to find members and a venue – have been looking for nearly a year now. Any suggestions?     You did well with your pictures but I bet your dad never tried actively worked at photographing deep shadows unless it was for effect and never on potraits to hang on the wall. Art pieces maybe.

    Hi Mickey, Thanks for your comment on my dress! – my first attempt at that pattern was like a five year old’s christmas dress. I was going to give up the pattern entirely but I had some scrap fabric. It might just be that kind of dress!
