Hi! Thank you for your comments!!! I can’t wait to see what you make! Yes, unfortunately, I did line the top. I tried not to, but it was very complicated so I could see why it was necessary. Here’s how it works: There is one big ‘butterfly’ piece that creates that gathered top effect, but it has a ‘backing’ that is several smaller pieces. those two pieces go together as one piece, and there there is an interfacing…so you need yet ANOTHER round for ‘lining’ so that there is no interfacing showing. Even though that would be on the inside, it’s way to ‘raw’. So you actually have 3 top pieces. The back of the top is easier. I’m pretty sure that’s how it works! It was a little complicated, but did work out in the end. EVERYTHING is mislabeled!!! It was crazy!! I left some more feedback on my Cate page. GOOD LUCK!!!! :-)
