How do you all compensate for the missing patterns and pattern pieces from the Winter 2014 edition?

For 118B there is NO pattern piece “1”. Also, the plus-size skirt pattern is NOT in the magazine. Will these be available for download since they are missing?

      Hi there,

Sometimes they are a little tricky to find, but all pattern pieces are on the insert sheets. I’ll contact you directly and help you figure this out!

Hi Denise, I’m trying to unsubscribe from Burdastyle US magazine. I’ve emailed several times, with no response. Any other suggestions on how I can unsubscribe from the magazine?

Hi! I bought the digital edition of the Spring 2014 Burda Style magazine, but now when I go to download the downloadable patterns – for example the 117 dress – I get asked to pay for it. How do I avoid this? Thanks, Dual45

Hi Dual45, the downloadable patterns are to be paid for (whether you have the digital issue or the hard copy). Unfortunately this is something that can’t be avoided. Let me know if you have any other questions!

RE: "There is an error on page 111 of the Winter 2014 issue of BurdaStyle magazine. The pieces for skirt 145-102013-US should have been numbered as pieces 26-31 (instead of 21-26). "

It would be nice if this were emailed to the subscribers. It would be helpful and should be easy for you guys to accomplish.

Hi Denise, How can I get the corrected information for making the 145 skirt in the Burda Style Winter 2014 magazine? I am really enjoying this new publication, I especially like the variety of looks. Thanks, Dual45

Hi Dual45! Sorry for missing this! I’m so glad to hear you’re enjoying the magazine and all of the different styles.

I’m glad you reached out. We actually found an issue with pattern 145, but we have a resolution.

There is an error on page 111 of the Winter 2014 issue of BurdaStyle magazine. The pieces for skirt 145-102013-US should have been numbered as pieces 26-31 (instead of 21-26). I can email you an updated page 111 featuring the proper pattern piece numbers.

There’s also one error relating to this pattern on the insert sheet.

Will you send me your email address so that I can email you the proper updated files?

Thank you for your continued support of BurdaStyle!

Dear Denise, Readers’ tips is a great idea, hope this will continue. If it comes to shortening/lenghtening patterns (for e.g. tall sizes) or some other type of tricks, i’ll be glad to share too :-) BR, Maria

    Hi Denise,

I am very interested in the project editor position for BurdaStyle. I currently live in New York, with a 30 minute train ride to Midtown Manhattan ( garment district). I also have a youtube channel displaying my work on sewing and pattern making I interned at Vera Wang for about a year and also worked in the handbag/accessories sector as an associate planner. I will submit my application for consideration.

    Best Regards, Felicia
