hello Luzzie,
I made that bag for my girlfriend. I just took some fabric and cut it to a size i wanted. I also cut some plain black fabric for the inside. I sew the bottom and sides. I added the straps and sew them from the inside. I added a black ribbon and found a charm at the craft store. I had to sew the charm by hand. Im sure you can find some patterns for a tote bag. I just added the charm to dress it up some more. You can also take the bottome of the bag inside and sew the corners of it (making a trangle) to give it a wide bottom. The left over fabric i made a make up bag adding a zipper for my mom.

Hey! To make the beetle you need some wool roving and a felting needle. Basically you stab the lump of wool over and over and it “teases” the wool and makes it’s all knotty on the inside and it holds it’s shape. You can buy most of this stuff from a good craft store. I got my shape from a magazine but there is alot of good tutorials out there on the Internet. I also made a cupcake but I made that one up. So its kinda like sculpture!
