  Hello and thank you for the compliment! It’s a scarf! I cut out embroidered flowers and vines from a piece of silk dupioni, then layered them between vintage millinery tulle. I was going to put them on the jacket, but I really liked that I could wear it without the scarf too, so I just let it be. You can see it better in the second picture. Sometimes creations have a definite point of view! :)

  Thank you for the compliment on my jacket! Yes, it’s one of my pieces. It’s my basic wing collar jacket/shirt you see in a lot of my pieces with different trims and collars, etc. I start with simple garments and design from there!
