  Liebe lovely_polly, Du hast wegen den Schnitten gefragt – nun ja, ich habe mir tatsächlich überlegt, einige von den vielen schönen Vintage Schnitten für andere zugänglich zu machen. Ich bin mir da aber der rechtlichen Lage nicht so sicher. Ausserdem würde das sehr viel Arbeit bedeuten, vor allem wenn ich es als multi-size-pattern herstellen würde… und woher nehme ich mir bloss die Zeit dazu?

  Hi! Danke für die Antwort. Eigentlich meinte ich aber ein anderes Problem. ;-) Die Schnitte sollen auf US-Letter Papier ausgedruckt werden und wenn ich es auf meinem deutschen Drucker in A4 versuche, kommen sie immer leicht verzerrt raus… Ich hoffe, das Licht geht bald wieder! ;-) Verena

    hmmm, dass die schnitte verzerrt ankommen, kann ich nicht beobachten…. das zusammenbauen ist zwar ein wenig puzzlearbeit, weil die hochkant ränder um 5mm nicht zusammen gehören und die querkanten exakt aneinander passen, aber mit etwas gefühl für den schnittverlauf bekommt man es schon hin….

    ich hasse solche hardware-probleme wie deins… :-( das ist immer so zeitaufwändig zu beheben…

  Hallo! Deine Twinkle-Sachen sind wirklich toll geworden! Sie sehen bei dir auch im Alltag tragbar aus, was die Fotos im Buch nicht immer vermuten lassen… ;-) Ich nähe gerade auch an White Magic und bin gespannt, ob das Ergebnis so gut wird wie deins. Eine Frage habe ich an dich: Wie hast du es hinbekommen, die Schnitte richtig auszudrucken? Ich kämpfe noch immer vergeblich mit dem Papierformat. Liebe Grüße!

  Dein Ballkleid ist fantastisch und das Foto ist wirklich märchenhaft. Leider bin ich genau nicht stur und zielstrebig (weil Wassermann! )… dafür aber immer geradeheraus, soll heißen ich gebe keine Kommentare nur aus Nettigkeit. ;)

    hey, danke, das ist ja voll nett von dir!!! es ist die einzige prüfung die mir fürs bakkalaureat noch fehlt, aber die profs tun alles dafür, dass kaum ein student durchkommt :-(

  I admired the 50’s walk away dress and asked if the Butterick pattern was a recent purchase ? By the way we had a really warm sunny day in Cleveleys UK and walked along the beach without a jacket and wearing sunglasses !!

    butterick published vintage dresses in the last few seasons. I found it in the recent catalog, but I also found out, that there are originals of ‘52 for sale on ebay. anyway, I payed 10Euros, the originals were somehow at 30dollars or so…
    I hope you have fun with your dress! don’t forget to post it :-)

(inspiring new surroundings…?), you made so much during the last days (congrats that you passed your examination! sorry, my mobile is …) i’ve started the dark blue wool skirt (full circle), but it is more difficult than i exected it to be… and i’m longing for knitting but i’m too lazy to spin my wool. so i have to wait for the WE to get some wool, waiting for me in “schwammerlhausen”… a bientot :-) Moona/Mur

  Danke schön für die Glückwünsche! :) Also das was das Kleid eigentlich ausmacht (Silhouette) ist futsch wenn man Ärmel reinsetzt finde ich. Im aktuellen Herbst Burda Heft sind auch nur Modelle mit kurzen Ärmeln…. aber darin friere ich. ;)

    ja stimmt, das ist witzig. seit ca. drei jahren beobachte auch ich, dass es im herbst /winter mehr und mehr kurzärmelige sachen gibt. die modelle tragen dann immer lange handschuhe dazu … (wie unpraktisch, wenn auch hübsch).
    enge shirts oder rollis trägst du nicht so gerne darunter? damit helf ich mir immer :-9

  oh i absolutley think you should do it! i should have thought to take pics while I was working on it so i could put together a tutorial, but i think from the end pictures you can pretty well see the details of how I did it. I wouldnt make the pleat width any more than 1/4-1/2 inches because the wider those little pleats are, the more the sides bow inward when you sew them down in opposite directions. (just something I noticed when i got mine all done, i’m glad i didnt make them any wider or it would have looked bad). anyways, best of luck with it and let me know if you’d like any more pointers :)
