Oh, thank you so much for your lovely comment. Things are actually going well, just that slightly displaced feeling. Looking forward to getting settled and back into sewing though :-) Hope you’re not still missing Japan too much. x

Thank you on the kind comment! Wanted to visit your blog but it only let me a glimpse of it (was much intrigued by the lace I got to see for a sec) and it went blank. It did that several time! God knows what’s wrong with the IE today. Will check up on it later! Thank you for leaving the comment!

Hello there, If Christmas is important to you how about some Christmas patchwork. I made wreaths one year for all my friends as gifts. I drew round a large round tray-, then folded it many times cut out a circle in the centre, ( so it looks like a dough ring !! ) to give me the size and shape for each patch. Using a variety of Christmas prints, plains and gold cut out these shapes ( adding seams ) Also cut out a complete back in one colour. Stitch the circles together round the outer edge ONLY Cut out notches around seam. Turn to right side. Hand stitch the inner edge – LEAVING A GAP TO STUFF – Stuff and stitch opening. Decorate with a large bow, bells or anything festive.
