1950’s purple and black dress. Its made from a vintage simplicity pattern, 2879. I made changes to the bodice, the kind of darts and underarm shaping. I added fabric covered buttons down the front.

Hi. Well about me, what is there to say hhmmmm!!!!. Well I've been sewing since i was four or five. I pinched a sewing needle from my mum and cut up some of her clothes to make a doll and have been sewing ever since. I am self taught and can think of no better way than to spend my free time making things for friends and my two boys.
