Thanks – when I try to make myself pants or a dress shirt I’m sure my novice-ness will show through – just you wait.

Haha, I totally know what you mean about rushed sewing looking like hills. I’m terrible at keeping hems and such straight…
And thanks so much for your nice comments on my drawings, I really appreciate them!

Hi, I’m just replying to a comment you made about my corset and wanting to know how the saran/duct tape works, sorry its been so long, I didn’t think anyone would have commented on my creations, so I didn’t check..
It took me forever to get the patterns right, but now it’s as easy as anything but pie. I no longer have the instructions on paper, but basically you need duct tape, I usually buy two rolls, just in case, saran wrap, and a friend you don’t mind seeing you with your shirt off and trust with a pair of scissors. I usually keep my bra on, so you get more lift from the corset, and have your friend help wrap you with the saran wrap, usually arms up as long as you can. Wrap well past the area you want the duct tape to end, for obvious reasons. Then start wrapping duct tape around your waste, as tight as you want it, then I usually put strips going lengthwise around the entire thing, and continue to wrap the bottom. The boob area I use small strips around the whole thing, like flower petals. And continue to wrap the rest. Using a Sharp-e marker, mark on the panels, and the front and back centers. I usually do two patterns with one wrapping, one on either side.
