Hey,
Adding the boning to my dress was a breeze. I made the bodice but it didn’t stay up as well as I wanted so I just sewed boning along the lining seams. I was originally gonna make a casing for it but I was lazy after spending enough hours already on my dress so I just zigzagged it on…. I’m gonna go crazy with boning now I think!

Hi! While checking out the site, I saw your comment on Chinese dress and your question regarding pattern. Well, maybe it’s not the exact pattern used, but I think you should take a look at this and this dress. Patterns are free of charge and you have them in various sizes.
I hope it helped. Ana

Thank you for your lovely “kitty” comment on my cape. I see you’re a cat person too ;) I love cats and animals in general (by the way, I totally agree with your position about no fur… fashion could and should be political too)! About the pro top stitching, I must say that I did and undid it a lot till I get satisfied, but I think the practice makes it better, I hope… I’m a fan of black and white, so I loved your malissa zebra, reminds me of something :)

I must correct my score: The instructions are in 6 different languages (english, italiano, german, spanish, french and russian).
And Brother is really user friendly ;P!

Hi Ritney! ;)
Great that you learned something from me, I help where I can.
I have looked after the instructions for the overlock (brother 3034 D) and ..lol.. :P the instructions are in two languages: german and italiano!
I think it plays a roll where the label comes from.
i.e. brother (I think) is an international label and so english plays a big roll there.
But you can write an email to the shop, maybe they can answer your questions in english?
But I must say I can´t test the overlock, cause I want to check out my new sewing machine – and she is a dream :)!
What I forgot to say: there is a dvd for handle the overlock! I will check it tomorrow, maybe it´s also in different languages.
