Again, thank you. It’s so to hear when someone loves what I created :) I love that when created a wedding dress or an evening dress, I can push the limit of my imagination one step further (and I have a soft spot for silk lol) and while assembling those pieces together, I find it very soothing.

Hello! Thank you for the kind words on my pink and brown animal print pillows and little mouse! Also, you stated that you might want to make the little mouse yourself, so here is the Mouse Pattern. Happy sewing!

Hi Mirela, I’m glad that you loved the white dress :) The fabric I used has NO stretch at all (it’s like charmeuse, just double faced, so it has some weight). I’m guessing stretch material might not work, because when i drape the dress, all those side drape is happening due to some tightness around hip. so the fabric above has nowhere else to go, but to turn into those drape. I imagine that stretch fabric would just lose the drape . (same reason why the right fit is crucial, if it’s too lose, the drape would just collapse and fall below hip.) Let me know if you have any further question :)

Hello Kathariney! I admire your while pleated dress with the how to! Thank you so much for taking the time to share with us how its made. I just washed an ivory silk Jacquard, not too heavy and I do have some matching china silk. I have a couple of questions. Does the fabric need to be stretch for this dress?

It’s all draping on a dress form. The dress is not lined, hand binded seam instead. I used facing in all the needed area. one side of the shoulder seam actually is holding up by snaps.
the key is draping draping and draping :)
Thank you for your kind comment.
