    Hiya JulieSydney! Thanks for your comment on my fabric necklace! Just posted the how-to. :)

    And if you go to Uganda, definitely stock up on the fabric – it’s lovely. It’s made from a wax batik process (it seems very similar to Indonesian batik which I grew up with, but with totally different style and designs). It’s called “kitenge” (and I was told it was pronounced “kih-tenj”). :) Have fun if you go! I only made it (literally) to one foot over the border of Uganda, as I was working in Nimule in Southern Sudan. But I hear it is a beautiful country.
