Thank you for the kind words on my daughter’s robe. I see you have a beautiful model of your own! (and I also noticed that you’ve made more creations for her than yourself, what’s that about? I’m DYING to make the Lydia hoodie for myself… but just ONE more project for my daughter first…)
:)

Thanks for the nice comment :-))
No, the bag is actually very easy to make and Bathinas instructions are very understandable, I´m just an advanced beginner and could make it without problems in even a few hours!
Good luck for your projects :-)

I can absolutely understand you! But I don’t know if I had the guts to leave my home country :) But I wish you the best and let me know when you definitely will come to Germany :)
Oct 5, 2008, 07.18 AMby Polychromatin
You want to move to Germany? But you live in Miami! I guess many Germans would want to move there. ;)
But that’s really cool. Where do you want to move in Germany? I come from Halle, which is in the federal state Saxony-Anhalt in East Germany. But with the country it’s maybe the same with the name: One never tends to find its own country great ;) Of course I’m very happy here, but I kind of don’t have comparison to other countries. Many say the language is a little bit difficult (even the natives speaker say that). But here in Germany are definitely some nice places :)

I like the real pronunciation of your name, sounds very special :)
Yes, Lydia is also very popular in Russia (generally in christian countries). Here in Germany the pronunciation of Lydia is a little bit different. The y is spoken like the û in the french „crème brûlée“.

Thanks for your comment. I’m a begginer and not that confident with my sewing just yet. So all positive feedback is a huge push forward for me. Thankyou :@) Loving the cute little dresses too they’re fab!!!

Thanks for your nice comment :) I think one never tends to find its own name especially great, but it’s nice to know that you like it :) What is your real name?

Hi jsolnushko, thanks for your comment on my Patrones shirt. About the hawto for pintucks: I mark the distance between pintucks on the right side of fabric (2 cm for the Patrones shirt). I don’t mark the complete pintuck line, but mark 2-3-4 spots, depending on fabric’s length, along one pintuck. Then I fold the fabric using marked spots and pin along its length to secure it from moving. I sew as close as possible to the fold line. And that’s it! I iron the pintucked fabric before drawing pattern on it. If you think that images would provide more details, let me know and I’ll make a howto. Ana

Thanks for the compliment on my little girl’s dress. It turned out a bit big so it should fit great next summer :). Kids grow so fast anyway as I’m sure you know. Cute creations for your little girl. Its always fun to run across another mom of little ones on BurdaStyle. Thanks again!
