I used an old blouse as a pattern. Was easier than paper patterns. Instead of throwing a stained shirt away, keep it, rip the seams and use as a pattern.
This is a dress I made from a Burda pattern in the Magazine 5/2009 dress 114, I changed it up a bit, no zipper in the back, no bunched sleeves, and no rubber band waist.
