ok, I just spent a couple of minutes trying to wrap my head around why we are both ‘saggies’. I was like – I don’t know what she’s talking about, what’s sagging? – Anyway, I finally got it now ;) But hey, you can’t just sneak up on me and wish me a happy new year without me getting right back to you, so here they come, sprinkled with sooooooo much hope, I am wishing you a super duper year, not just for you, but also for your family. And to top it all off, happy belated birthday to. Hey, if you can, so can I ;)

thank you very much for your lovely post janene! yes i have planned allready a few things i wanted to do with the xmas prints: little heartshaped pillows, filled with lavender little pearhaped fabric-fruits filled with either lavender or xmas potpurri xmas stockings and patchworked cushions (i think i use the “lone-star” pattern again, i used allready last year) last but not least i will do a few little stuffed soft animals (reindeer, cats and pinguins are on my list)
……..just started with the heartshaped pillows yesterday (grey weather outside, and the fireplace on! (this was still AUGUST!!! can you belive it??)
what is next on your plan?? letmeknow! lots of love! ralf

I am so excited to see your creations!! How absolutely lovely!
Makes a change that the UK is sunny and elsewhere is grey! But more good reason to stay cosy inside and sew.
Every day I dream about making things but my work (Im a freelance graphic designer) has gone crazy. So typical. Im faffing around with a childrens activity book for Megamind, the new Dreamworks movie which would normally be so much fun… but I just want to get on with my coffee date dress! Is it so bad to dream of retiring at 43?! x

I don’t mind you adding me as friend, I just added you to mine. Wow I Love the dresses you made your daughter, of course I’m a sucker for all things pertaining to kids on this site. I have such a vast studio because I really dislike buying what I can make for free, and a lot of my projects are for my sons academy and they like things to be home made vs store bought.

Thank you so much. Home made things are so much more special. Mine don’t turn out exactly free as I have to forgo my work in order to steal the time! But indeed I feel the choice is there… and the quality… and the fit… and the fact that no-one else has one the same! I bet you are star mummy at your sons academy!

I feel flattered by your response! You are my first ‘wall’ entry too…thank you! I love how productive you’ve been with all your wonderful work and by you being my friend I can be inspired to do more. Beautiful pullover dresses. I downloaded the pattern for those yesterday and now just wading through my day-job work as fast as I can so I can get to do some sewing on the weekend!
