Well hello Ava! It’s nice to hear from you again! How are you? Thank yo so so much for your constant support! Oh, you’re so good with words, I wish I was as eloquent as you are (and I’m not talking just about expressing myself in English, but also in my native Serbian).

Great to hear about your fund raising endeavour! You rock! I usually get annoyed with people who update their profile every two days, I immediatly feel the urge to remove them from ‘My Friend’s list’ for that very specific reason . Enough of this ‘me me me’ culture I end up wondering what is navel gazing all about. Your profile update cheered me up! Hurrah for ‘macro politics’! X

I know … I know… I was worried posting it … but it’s not like I am keeping you updated on my choice of toothpaste that day! We were so surprised by the money we made (our goal was $200.) There was 4 of us who organized it – really fun day. (We need to do another one to help a local family- so much poverty here and the healthcare system is terrible.)

Dear Ava, thanks for the last night’s toast ;-). I wish I could really make a party and meet some of you guys in real life. Before joining the BurdaStyle community I used to crave for some attention when it comes to my creativity. My poor mother was smothered by my constant talk about sewing, and my friends didn’t understand the word I was saying. Now I feel my work worths something and I really enjoy chatting with people who share my passion. The fact we’re spread all over the globe makes it even more interesting. Cheers! Ana

Thank you for your comments on my daughters dress and on my dress also. I have to improve my english … you used interesting adjectivs (like “edgy”) which I surched in my german/english dictonary. ;) Thanks! Immi

You really made my day with your lavish comment! I appreciate the time you spent on taking in the whole photograph and the story it tells and give your own interpretation. THANK YOU! Yes, she has grown a bit since last time. And yes, this is a nice way of documenting both our lives and the things we do/make/say/experience (that’s why I started the blog – so that one day when she is bigger she can relate to this period of her life – learn and use the experience she acquired).

Hey Ava, how are you? I love getting your comments on my creations :). Each of your comments is a short story, expressing your taste, attitude and opinion, explaining exactly what you like about the garment. And I appreciate that a lot! Thanks! Ana

Thank you so much for the comment! I’ll post more pictures of the should detail on the thrift store dress. Actually, the only reason why I bought the dress was because of the shoulder design.

thanks for your comment on my stripes. i can’t remember the last time i used a pattern, at least for my own clothing… :) It’s quite easy actually once you get some principles down. And it helps that I’m into the loose fit right now anyway, hah. Unfortunately, I cut off the cuffs of my steg shirt because they were too tight. I was pretty stupid, I could have just moved the buttons around or something. Anyway, sorry, I tend to babble a lot, but I do like your creations. I like your sense of color :)

Thanks for the compliments on my dress!! Your first projects look very successful as well! Isn’t it a wonderful feeling to have finished making something and you’re satisfied to wear it outside!!!
Now that I’ve made a couple of things I’m feeling brave. I plan on making bigger and better things!!
