Thanks very much for your comment! I had my eye on that Vogue pattern for a while (like you, I was unsure how it might turn out) and decided to give it a shot once I had an excuse for a dress like that. :)
Love your tea top (great use for fabric like that) and I wonder whether I will ever have the patience to make a quilt — nice work!

The 32 petite coffee date dress pattern was suppose to have had the seem allowance added already and i printed it in the right scale. I’m not sure what happened? I just added about a 1" to the bodice seems, 3/4" to skirt seems, and opened it about a 1/4" on both front bodice and front skirt, in the middle. i should have maybe only added about 1/2" to all seems, it didn’t fit as form fitting as the one my daughter got. All new to me, i learned alot though. <>< HAPPY SEWING :)

It does. I’ll try that. But also, the bust outside and the lining piece…those line up when you gather them? because mine wont line up for anything! Grr. (By the way, your version of this top is fabulous. Probably my fave, because the fabric is great and it looks great on you!)

Well, I cant get the front and back bust pieces to line up at all, and then they dont line up under the arm. I double checked that i cut them out right…
