Thank you for the comment on my skirt. I love it, and I just couldn’t forget the worms and thought about them all day until I remembered I had that fabric and made the skirt. It was the easiest thing in the world, just made a tube and then fitted it as necessary…Oh, and I love your version of the itty bitty, and I absolutely love the button you used…. I have made some myself too, they’re so easy and great, you should try making a big one, they look awesome!

Hey, thanks for your comment on my skirt. To create this skirt I started off with my favorite how to… How To: Make a Quick Party Skirt. The skirt pieces that I used are more narrow than the ones in the how to because I didn’t want such a full skirt, but you can just play around with the width to your liking. The straps are long rectangles and the front apron part is basically a rectangle with the top edge slightly curved (I just used paper to play around with what size I wanted this part to be and then used that as my pattern). I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions about it!

Hi girlywhirly, Thanks for your comment on the baby clothes I made. The Burda WoF patterns in 07/2008 are sized for 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, 18 months and 24 monthhs old. I made these for 12 months incase the baby is big and needs to wear them sooner :)

thanks for the comment, yeah I was actually pretty caught off guard when I realized how well the duct tape method works. If you happen to try it, I would recommend to use lots of tiny strips around the curves because then the duct tape will adapt to your form more precisely. I also just draped for the bust, as I didn’t bother working a pattern for that. I might even post the pattern I used- with several different size ranges. Best of luck on your projects… and sorry I’ve written such a long post.

thanks. i made another itty bitty to see if i could incorporate a zipper, and I ran into the trouble you had with the top/opening of the bag being narrow. I think it has to do with how you do the pleats, in relation to the depth of the boxed corners. anyways, what i ended up finding is that its actually better to have it turn out that way when you’ve put in a zipper, because then you can fold in the top to hide the zipper and it fits in there just perfectly without ruining the look of the bag. i’ll be uploading it here in a sec so if you’re confused you can see what im talking about :)
