gingerrachel commented on the project not happy danielle

Thank you for all the lovely, positive comments. I’m really, really pleased with how these shorts turned out. I’ve never made trousers or shorts straight from a pattern and wasn’t sure they’d fit b…

I keep hearing great things about the Jenny skirt and I have a soft spot for pencil skirts so might have to try it. Yours looks great and I love the top too.
gingerrachel added the project Military / Safari Shorts
I made these shorts using pattern 120 from Burda 06-2009. I wouldn’t normally wear shorts but I’d definitely recommend this pattern because it’s a good, flattering fit and would probably work in lo…

This looks good! The lace adds a really nice touch and so lovely that it’s from your Grandmother. I’m after a floral dress to wear with boots too, and I have this magazine so I’ll have to have a cl…

gingerrachel commented on the project Pucci-esque top
Thanks for the lovely comments.
I didn’t think too much about the fabric at the time, I just bought it because it was on sale but I’m very happy with how it turned out. It happens that way someti…

Thank you! I should point out that, apart from me, my workplace is all men so they probably have no idea what constitutes maternity wear… There is a bit of room in the front but some days it’s ni…

gingerrachel added the project Pucci-esque top
This is a top I made using Burda magazine 06-2009 109A. It’s a really simple pattern but I struggled a bit with the slippery fabric and binding the V-neck. After wearing it a few times, one change …
