Your fabric is by Liberty of London, a design called D’Anjo, originally released in 1930 and reissued in 2012 (and again this year). This blog is a useful source …

I agree with both of you. I have been cutting out this skirt and have found it difficult to figure out which pieces should be used. In fact, the download includes pieces for another version (#122),…

The fabrics in Burda’s version are by Liberty of London, which can purchased in many places, but try Shaukat in London, where it is cheaper than elsewhere. Also try British ebay.

A lovely skirt. I also have plans for this pattern and in Liberty fabric – pieces bought cheaply on ebay UK. Thanks for the useful comments on your blog.

This pattern is almost identical to Burda 7136, an envelope pattern. Using it might give you more satisfactory results without all that tracing and drafting.

freyastark commented on the project Hankies galore!

Good idea. I use scraps of Liberty lawn, 30 × 30cm or even slightly bigger. The lawn is a good weight for hankies. But I’ve given up on mitred corners!

    P3130099aa_listing

I used view C of Burda 8363 (published 2004) to make a tunic. My only changes were lowering the bust darts by 2.5cm and omitting the ties at the neck. The fit is good and the overall effect is plea…

Love that paisley shirt! And that Liberty fabric is in my stash. Note, however, that Burda Style envelope pattern #7397 is remarkably similar except for the sleeves being full length and gathered a…

    But5526cropped_listing

Butterick 5526, view B, is a straightforward pattern for a classically cut shirt. The fit is easy; there are no darts; and the sleeves are a good length. Anyone taller than average height might wan…
