Hello! Thanks for your nice comment on my Anda dress and the super kind offer of getting me some of that fabric. I am based in London (Hackney) and am quite often down in Brixton.. you know what would be better and easier (and much more fun) than fulfilling a shopping order? You could pop over to our sewing club ning, (http://burdastyleclubs.ning.com/group/bsceastlondon) join up, post your favourite Brixton fabric finds in the fabric discussion, and maybe even come along to meeting! We often do fabric swaps – especially as african wax print is sold in such long pieces. Many a great find has been passed on and treasured again. Along with just getting on with projects in a relaxed atmosphere, very friendly people, always tasty food, tea and wine.. You would be so welcome. And it isn’t an exclusive east london club, people often come from all over London and we have held a couple of meetings in Southwark.
Your stuff is great by the way, and always beautiful photos too. a x

Your fabric sounds nice. I’ve figured mine out and am wearing the little beauty today. Will wear it for boxing day as well i think. Defo gonna make another one, i would like a tapered below the knee version for a 50’s look.
1 hour left at work and then its holiday time…. yeah!
Happy Holidays my lovely little Jeffries. xxxxx

Hi! Thanks so much for your comment. Wow, you have some seriously stunning creations, may I say! Love your use of African wax fabric, I’m really into that too. Where do you get yours? I’ve bought some from Shepards Bush market in the past. Some of the prints are mental aren’t they?! Happy sewing xxx
