I have just started sewing again after 28 years. I took tailoring years ago and made all my daughters clothes even made my husband a suit. I am 67 and due to illness wear a 00. It is impossible to buy clothes. I have joined a group of girls sewing and thru them ASIG. Everything is different – but much easier thanks to new machines, etc. There is so many new things I get lost. I bought a brother machine and the instructions with the additional feet are not very good I need to find out shortcuts and good instructions – help

Dear Carol,
One of the reasons I created my site eSewingWorkshop.com is precisely to allow anyone who wants to make custom fitted garments to learn how to do so from the comfort of their own home.
On the site you can learn how to draft your own block patterns and then cut and sew garments with them. I also teach a lot of techniques and tips that will help make it easier to achieve fine quality finished garments.
We also have basic instructions that may help with your machine, in terms of threading bobbin winding …etc..
Happy sewing,
Nehzat
