Hi thanks for your lovely comments on my silver bag. I made up the flowers myself – copying the picture in the magazine. I made saugages of fabric, turned them the correct way and then pleated them round using a hot iron. To keep the shape I had to glued them and hand sewed them as when i tried to machine them they totally lost the texture/shape. I added the little bud bit to the centre last – this is a triangle of fabric twisted around. I hope this helps/makes sence and happy flower making B-) Penny

:D i am excited that you are going to make something with wool too :D this is the exact one i bought:

I bought the not-brushed one, but its a little pokey on the bare sking — luckily i had lining! if you get the brushed one, its should be softer :) gooooood luck! let me know what color u end up getting :D

My son doesn’t take the apron off. He say’s it makes him feel “domestic”. I didn’t know he even knew what that word meant. Just too funny. We are having a great time making all kinds of sweet treats. Thank you again for commenting. :o)

Thanks for your nice comment on my Hitchcok shirt! I was also surprised that thie stencil-technique worked so well! Unfortunately the paint was too old, so after washing the birds nearly vanished. I have to do it again with newer paint!

Hi EMRICHKH. I have, uh… 8 sewing machines actually. Turn out there’s not enough space to list them all on my profile. I gotta admit a couple of them I just kinda play with, I always go back to my 70’s Husqvarna for most garment sewing. What do you sew with?

You wanted to know where I got the rocket fabric for my son’s PJs. It was crybaby fabrics. They do fantastic fabrics especially jersey and loads of them are great for kids. Luckily living in the UK I can’t go overboard. I managed to get a nightie for my daughter out of the leftovers. I’ll stick a photo up soon.
