Hey Emily, I’m glad my New Years Resolution inspired you, it’s not to hard to get into it, I’m already onto my second Kasia in black this time to match a different style top, fingers crossed :) I love all your pants, they fit you so well, I’ll had to add them to my basics list but maybe when Winter rolls back around :)

(…at the risk of coming across as a “crazy cat lady”)… You just have to check out these (non-sewing related) cartoons! I laughed my cheeky pants off :D

Hi EmilyKate! many thanks for your comments on my blog. I did make those shorts in red, I now want to make them in green and denim but autumn is now here! How is your pledge to make all your clothes this year going? xxx

Hi Emily Kate, I didn’t want to ruin that fabric so I went simple rather than complex for the dress. I will post pics soon. I don’t really wear halters as much as I used to but I wanted to do something with the scraps and I like the result. Maybe you can do some variation on a halter that will work best for you. Thanks again for your nice comments and those little figures do seem to add a little humor to everyone’s page you leave a comment on :)

Thanks — I definitely need to try out the Burda pants patterns to see if I get a better fit. I keep wondering if I’m just shaped weirdly!! XD

basically, I cut it apart where the sideseam would be located and added width there. plus, I added/removed a certain amount at the crotch seam and waistline. After I figured out HOW MUCH to add/remove, it was all just plain pattern tracing ;)

ahaha, you’re so sweet X3
I also made a quick test panty for a friend (BATMAN FARBIC!!!!!), and it turned out quite well, actually.

:)
I actually got somewhere, but I’d definitely call it a beta version. I made a bunch of different sizes and hope a lot of people will try this and tell me how they like the fit (if there are any wearable results, that is ;D).
Can’t wait to upload the pattern, just got to stuff it all into one pdf.
Best!

Thank you for your comment on my hat and mittens! You do an enviably excellent job sewing pants — I have never had the greatest luck making pants fit :)

Yup, I now see how you made the waistband! Thanks for posting the photo for me. :) I’ve actually never made pants/trousers before (unless you count pajama bottoms), so I think I’ll try making my first pair with that style waistband.
