Hallo Basti,
der Einfachheit halber schreibe ich eben Deutsch. Ich habe kein Problem mit der Kritiek. Wenn ich die Hemden trage fühle ich, dass da noch etwas zu verbessern ist. Die Sache mit der Armkugel ist glaube ich nicht ganz zu lösen. Der kleine ‘Sack’ der immer übrig bleibt hat letztlich auch mit der Bewegungsfreiheit zu tun. Wenn man die Arme nach vorne streckt, hat man die Mehrweite nötig. Aber es sieht immer irgendwie doof aus. Ich kann mich nur noch erinnern, dass mein Lehrer die Kugel so flach möglich gehalten hat gerade wegen diesem Problem. Viel Erfolg bei der Lösung des Problems! Grüsse aus Rotterdam Martin

Hey,
nein, aber das stimmt nicht! Es gibt eine Lösung. ich hab schon an manchen Jungs gesehen, dass die Ärmel ganz wunderbar, faltenfrei saßen. Allerdings war dann der Ärmel stets zwei geteilt. Eben damit der Ellenbogen den Ärmel nicht zieht. Die Kugel und der Arm"kopf" waren perfekt , ohne Falten und die rollten sogar leicht an. Daher meine Sakkoarmlösung… aber wie gesagt, bügel das jedesmal nach dem Waschen… das ist ja der Horror. Wenn ich es jemals schaffen werde, werde ich es posten! :-)
Übrigens, die Bequemlichkeitszugabe kommt ja in die Kugel…. nicht hinter der Kugel, dort wo es immer aufklappt.

Hello elguanche! :-) Ich habe eine Frage: In einem Post zu deiner Chesterfied Jacke schreibst du von einen Community in der sie deine Arbeit in allen Einzelheiten kritisiert haben… der Link würde mich interessieren, weil ich selbst auch Schnitte konstruiere. Das aktuelle Projekt ist wirklich erstaunlich! Du solltest den Mantel unbedingt auch tragen… er wirkt sehr, sehr ‘stattlich’!

achja… sowas gibts schon… aber der Nutzen? Wofür brauchst du das? Gibts eher selten hier. Wenn würde ich mir den Streifen eben so zuschneiden wie ich ihn brauche.. wenn er für Säume sein soll, warum nicht mit dem Bügeleisen aufkleben? Gibt diese Borden nämlich aus dem Hause Vliseline und auch anderer. Es macht keinen Unterschied ob gebügelt oder aufgenäht… das machts nur eben im Brust und Rücken bereich sowie am Kragen. Überall anders würd ich immer “kleben” ;-)
Zu viel Arbeit für nix ;) -

hmmm ok… finde ich jetzt persönlich Spielerei. Warum klebt man das nicht? Und warum dann später drübersteppen? Sowas macht man mit nem schönen Blindstich… so jedenfalls meine Meinung ;-) Ich hätte dafür also so gar keine Verwendung!

I have a question for you El_Guanche. If I keep the innerseam between the thighs vertical, how to I create a skinny leg, by adjusting or slanting the seam along the outside leg? Thanks for you help and advice.

Bueno,
you have to make the adjustment for creating skinny legs or whide legs always on the innerseam!!! Of course you have to look at the outsideseam, too.Example: Jeans
First, after cutting the pattern and the fabric you sew the pants together and wear it. The first thing to adjust will be then the outseam. It hast to fall down very straight, what will defenetly happen, if you payed attention to the x-leg. Then you can make it a bit more tighter. The rule is, that if you pull with two fingers on the outerseam, the pants has to be that wide, that you can easily pull one cm. (On Jeans). But this all has nothing to do with skinny or wide legs. But first of all, you have to adjust the outseam, for having a nice an wrinkleless fall. Then you can adjust the wide of your legs with the innerseam.
Well, i saw in your picture, that your bottom is not to big for this jeans, but the crotch seam is a bit to high. Looks a bit unconfortable in special regions :-P :-P :-P
I have needed also a long time to construct my own perfect pantspattern. It is always more difficult to make pattern for oneselfs then for other people. But hey, i am sure, you’ll make it!!!!!!

Hello I saw I got an email from burda saying you send me a message but I cant see it on the web-site anywhere!! Very odd… How did you get into making patterns?? I’d really like to but dont know I am up to it yet. There is a huge lack in patterns for making mens clothing. My boyfriend keeps saying I could make him something and I’d love to but there just arent any patterns!! Its such a shame! :-)

Yes… thats right… there are no much patterns for men and if yes, they never fit like they should do.
Hmm I wrote in this Mail that normaly I dont sell my patterns but it would be a idea because many people ask me for this… it would be very easy. You would give me the excact measurement of your boyfriend and I would construct the pattern which you would like to have orientated on his excact measurement…

Cm is good for me!! For some reason in the UK if we are measuring a persons height we do it in feet!! Wierd country!! – Seeing as everything else we do is in centermeters!! ha ha
