Hi! I love your striped tee! I was just lamenting the fact that the Burda pattern was long sleeve, and I really needed some short sleeves to survive this heat, and I saw your project. I am a bit novice. Would you be able to explain how you adjusted the pattern to make that tee?

      Thanks Lisa!

All I did in this case was trace the body of the pattern and then extend the neckline to make the shoulder and extend the body line until they met, I adjusted the shaping slightly to match another top I already had then I just stitched the sides and shoulders. If you want a top more like the original pattern you could just trace the whole pattern and shorten the sleeves. It was pretty much trial and error for me but I hope that helps you, just ask if there’s something else you want to know.

      Have fun sewing!
