A basic t-shirt shaped dress where the fabric does the talking!
Made quickly on the serger and finished with twin needle hems.
I decided to make this black and white gingham dress after seeing a Prada advertisement in vogue.
I used Burdastyle pattern 06/2012#122 for the basic shape and added the trim to the bodice.
Looks amazing!

I made this dress from a copy of the famous ‘Horrockses’ couture dresses from the 1950’s.
The fabric is a heavy white cotton sateen with an all over floral print.

I made this cute little prom dress using pattern 02/2011 out of some quirky patterned lightweight polyester fabric.
I cut the skirt a little shorter and added a net underskirt for effect.
