Ha Ha! Now that is funny what they must be teaching in design school. A vertically challenged, mass gifted person is still going to look short and fat, but at least the dress has a chance to shine on its own. I am 5’2" and 145 lbs, trust me on this. 25 years ago (and 40 lbs lighter), it was no problem looking like a petite version when I was sewing a lot of my clothes. Now I am a realistic and focus on making clothes that fit well and look well. We can look good, we just can’t look 5’11" and 110 lbs.
Keep up the good work. You have made some lovely things. I look forward to seeing more of your creations posted.

hi there dollfacedemented, thanks for visiting my wall, and for your compliment on my vintage machine picture. I’m kinda obsessed with the vintage machines and I collect them :o) I’m getting that same pattern you used for the corset from a friend this week so I might have one of my own soon!
